Please describe your job title and primary duties.

Zehrs Cashier:
Okay. So I did cashier. I was obviously doing the transaction and then taking people’s… Well not taking people’s money, but taking their money and then giving them change and so on. And then I did stock clerk, which is stocking up all the goods and everything in the store.

Interviewer:
What was the work environment like?

Zehrs Cashier:
It was good. It was welcoming. The manager, even the workers were nice.

Interviewer:
How would you describe the application and interview process?

Zehrs Cashier:
Well, I had to apply online and I didn’t hear anything until probably like three weeks or so. And then I had an interview. And then after the interview, they didn’t contact me until like a month. So then they told me I had the job.

Interviewer:
What questions did the interviewer ask during the job interview?

Zehrs Cashier:
He just asked me, what would I do in some certain situations? And how am I working with groups of people? And so on.

Interviewer:
What other advice would you give to a job seeker looking to gain employment?

Zehrs Cashier:
Keep trying to look for jobs. There’s always opportunities there. Just keep looking for it. Even if you’ve been rejected once, twice, just keep looking for a job because that’s what I did.
