Interviewer:
Please describe your job title and primary duties.

Yogen Fruz Barista:
Well, I was a cashier, but I originally started off making the yogurt for customers. And I had duties like open up, close up, make change, make recommendations once in a while. That’s about it.

Interviewer:
How would you describe the application and interview process?

Yogen Fruz Barista:
Standard resume, and then showing what hours you’re available. Have you ever had any other experience? Have you ever worked at Yogen Fruz? What languages you speak? Things like that. It was a pretty standard resume.

Interviewer:
What questions did the interviewer ask during the job interview?

Yogen Fruz Barista:
How much do you want to make? I just wrote minimum wage. Do you have any problems lifting this many pounds? What languages do you speak? Other jobs? That’s it.

Interviewer:
What other advice would you give to a job seeker looking to gain employment?

Yogen Fruz Barista:
Be very open in the interviews. Ask exactly what you want out of the job right there and then. Be familiar with the menus. Be friendly to customers. Be able to make change quick because people get really pissed off when you take a long time. That’s about all I got.
