Wendy’s Cook:
At Wendy’s, basically I was the fries dispatcher and also the burgers dispatcher as well and I would clean as well.
Interviewer:
What was the work environment like?
Wendy’s Cook:
It was friendly. Everybody was very respectful. It was very clean because that’s one thing that’s very important for the Wendy’s company that everything is sanitary.

How would you describe the application and interview process?
Wendy’s Cook:
The manager was very disorganized a little bit. He didn’t have an application ready, so I had to come back again, but that was just a slight problem. I basically filled out an application and then he interviewed me. He sat me down and it was in his office and then he asked me a few questions and then from there he told me that I was hired right away.

What questions did the interviewer ask during the job interview?
Wendy’s Cook:
What do I expect at the job. He asked me about myself and he asked me my job experience.

What set you apart from other candidates?
Wendy’s Cook:
He seen that I was determined. Even though he didn’t have an application, I came back the next day to get one and fill it out. So that’s when he seen, “Okay, this girl is serious. She needs the job.”

What other advice would you give to a job seeker looking to gain employment?
Wendy’s Cook:
I would say be confident. It’s okay if you’re shy, just take your time. When the person asks the question, just take your time and answer it back. It’s not something that should be intimidating. You’ll be nervous at first, but just relax. And if the person who’s interviewing is friendly, you’ll be fine.
