I was a sales associate. My job title actually extends beyond that. I used to have to do sweeping of the floor if I worked the closing shift. I would work on the cash register. I would actually be a fashion guide for parents who might need some more insight on what to buy for their kids.

What was the work environment like?

The Children’s Place Sales Associate:
Basically talking to the customers. I find that when customers come see the store they’re undecided, and having a child I was able to actually give them advice as to how to coordinate stuff, because not all the time they actually want a matching suit. So I find that when I’m able to step into that room with them customers, I find it more comfortable than actually being around the cash register, sweeping or packing stuff. I think I find myself being rewarded more in that aspect of it.
