Please describe your job title and primary duties.

Forever 21 Sales Associate:
Basically I was a sales associate, so I was on the floor. And basically when people came in, I’d have to have a place where I’m doing zone coverage. So just basically talking to people, asking them if they need any help with anything, making sure that my section is on point, no hangers on the floor, no clothes on the floor. And yeah, and that was basically what I did.

Interviewer:
How would you describe the application and interview process?

Forever 21 Sales Associate:
The hiring process, it was pretty good. For example, my Forever 21, when it opened up, it was a new location, so Scarborough Town Center. So a lot of people got hired at one time. The hiring process was really, I’d say it was pretty… It was good, it was good at the end of it. The questions that they even asked, it was stuff that we could relate that helped us. For example, they’d give us a top and we’d have to sell it to the person hiring us. And that’s how they did it.

What set you apart from other candidates?

Forever 21 Sales Associate:
I would probably say my love for fashion and also probably my age, the age range I am. It went hand-in-hand with Forever 21.

What other advice would you give to a job seeker looking to gain employment?

I would probably say probably just read up on a little bit of the fashion trends going on at the moment so you kind of have an idea of what to expect when people come into the store asking you what’s in so you’re not completely lost.
